Title: Your Choice Determines Your MIRAI

Victor Frankl, the author of Man’s Search for Meaning, once wrote, “Everything can be taken from a person but one thing: the last of human freedoms to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances.” Frankl is right. You could be faced with a thousand problems, many or most over which you have different choices to select. You are free to choose, but the result is also for yourself. In another word, your choice determines your future.

To be honest, it wasn’t recent that I finally understood its full impact. All through my teens life, I can’t tell you the number of times that I heard, “Lu, be more concentrated, don’t make minor mistakes, do it more efficiently and try do everything best, or you will regret when you get older. At that time, I didn’t know the reason why I should work so hard. Just to make a little progress in my test points?

When I went into the senior high, I began to understand something. I can learn new knowledge with high efficiency. I have developed a full-attention brain. So I avoid a lot pain. And I am able to chase the top places and jump up high. That’s all I didn’t know before.

You can choose to play instead of studying, but you will reduce opportunities for a bright future. You can choose to turn a blind eye to the advice from people around you, but the ultimate loser is yourself.

So don’t be arrogance, try to listen to others, think about their suggestions. Make your MIRAI sparkling. Everyone wins.
